My Garage Logs does not directly receive or store your complete payment card number or card security code. We may receive and store information about the transaction, such as the amount, currency, payment status, payment provider, transaction identifier, and date of purchase, so that we can provide and maintain your paid account features.
Payment information processed by Stripe is also subject to Stripe's applicable privacy practices.
8. Vehicle Sharing Features
My Garage Logs may allow a vehicle owner to grant another authorized user access to a vehicle or its information. Information shared through such features may be visible to users who have been granted access.
Users are responsible for granting vehicle access only to people they trust.
9. Cookies and Sessions
My Garage Logs may use cookies or similar browser storage necessary for login sessions, security, preferences, and operation of website features.
Disabling necessary cookies may prevent account or website features from working correctly.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative measures intended to protect information stored by My Garage Logs. These measures may include encrypted HTTPS connections, password hashing, access controls, private file storage, security tokens, and server security measures.
No Internet service or data storage system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their account credentials and promptly change their password if they believe their account may have been compromised.
11. Data Retention
Information may be retained while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward when necessary for backups, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or operation of the service.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period after information is changed or deleted from the active service.
12. Your Choices
Depending on the features available, you may review or update account information, change your password, change your verified email address, manage reminder preferences, disable push reminders, and edit or delete vehicle-related information through your account.
You may permanently delete your My Garage Logs account through the My Account page. Account deletion removes your user account, vehicles you own, and associated active vehicle data, including maintenance records, reminders, fuel records, saved parts, recalls, photographs, documents, receipts, and sharing permissions.
Maintenance records you entered on a vehicle owned by another user may remain as part of that vehicle's history, but your deleted user account will no longer be associated with those records. Limited copies of deleted information may also remain temporarily in backups as described in the Data Retention section above.

My Garage Logs is intended for users who are able to create and manage their own vehicle-related account. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

My Garage Logs may interact with third-party services or data providers. Those organizations may have their own privacy practices that apply when information is processed by their systems.
